The finale of the 2019 leg of the Recklass Coast2Coast will be a Holiday Spectacular! Chef Gilbert will serve up Scottie Jeanette’s Recklass Christmas menu in an elegant evening of holiday entertainment. The Transgender Chorus of Los Angeles will sing carols and author Scottie Jeanette Madden will sign books and it's rumored that Santa Claus may start their West Coast scouting mission a little early… Tickets include a signed copy of Recklass in the Kitchen, dinner with wine, and dessert! Donations start at $75.00 per person. A portion of the evenings proceeds + Scottie Jeanette's royalties from all books sold tonight go to the Western Justice Center & the TCLA.

Scottie Jeanette kicked off the Recklass Coast2Coast Book Tour with a party for the "legacy angels" - the special individuals who backed Scottie Jeanette & Marcy's first efforts that lead to the creation and foundation of Zuzubean Press. Noted author and poet Anna Dunn dove into 2 Recklass Conversations - the first at NYLGBT Center's The Bureau, and the 2nd, @ the Writers Guild of America. Each time Anna & Scottie Jeanette dove into it with abandon about each's journey, writing & cooking from the heart while living life with all of it’s strange and wonderful and sometimes heartbreaking complexities. Scottie Jeanette shared an intimate look into the last year of a 32-year love story & marriage. It was an inspiring rollercoaster of an evening!

The Growler Guys hosted an "Evening of Adult Milk & Cookies!” Reckless Kitchens joins forces with Washington craftmasters, Fremont Brewing to bring Scottie Jeanette's brainchild, "Tough Cookies" - savory treats that pair exceptionally well with adult beverages to Seattle Foodies. Author Scottie Jeanette Madden will serve up free treats like her Southwestern Green Chile Cookies with roasted corn & pinenut, Tom Kha Gai Cookies with candied ginger & roasted peanut, Cuban Black Bean Cookies with candied lemon, dusted with habanero sugar. Mrs. Madden will also sign her new book "Recklass in The Kitchen" - a year of light, laughter & love… oh, and food! It will be an evening that will tickle your tastebuds and satisfy your thirst.
Then on Saturday, Woman-owned winery Adrice Wines hosts author Scottie Jeanette Madden, (Getting Back To Me - from girl to boy to to woman in just fifty years) to celebrate her latest book "Recklass in The Kitchen" - a year of light, laughter & love… oh, and food! It’s an afternoon of wine, food & friends just in time for Christmas! Winemaker Pamela Adkins, Co-Owner Julie Bulrice and author Scottie Jeanette presented expert pairings of Mrs. Madden’s unique and eclectic menus. A panel of Recklass Women discussed the intricately woven tapestry called life that brought them together!
